Finding time to go out and explore is a top priority this year. There is no better way to test your skills and limits in photography. Street photography happened more often when I first started out. It offered the most challenges when hunting for good light. If you wanted even more of a challenge, go out at night. Dressing for the weather is top priorty when going out in the winter, something we failed to do because we did not factor in the chilling wind.
